About This Track

'Icky' is a track built on innuendo and physical tension. KARD move between English and Korean across verses that layer suggestive imagery with a steady, hypnotic groove. The hook repeats its title like a mantra, each repetition deepening the pull of the thing being described. There is no ambiguity about what the song is after: it wants to seduce, to provoke, to make you feel the weight of proximity and desire. The production sits in a pocket between restraint and release. Verses are spare enough to let the vocals breathe and the lyrics land; the chorus swells with a kind of inevitability, as though the tension built across the track has finally found its shape. BM's rap section sharpens the focus further, trading the group's coy suggestion for something more direct. Throughout, the track moves with the confidence of something that knows exactly what it is doing.
