Thorns

Rose petals white, covering the pavement
Of my garden in the night, flowers faded
Mirror keeps silent, can't see my reflection
Carefully reminds me of my imperfection
Wounded by the thorns, painfully embracing
The flowers that are meant to speak for me
Love is left unspoken, love no longer matters
Left unsheltered, trampled by eternity
Rose petals white, taken out by winds
Cold and heavy, I hear winter sings
Taken out by winds memories are gone
She takes a rest under the tombstone
Wounded by the thorns, hands are bleeding
Blood is slowly dripping on the ground
I can't feel the difference between death and living
Everlasting winter all around
Black skies eat the night
No sound, no stars out
Her hands are the same cold as mine
But I'm forever cursed to be alive
