I am reckoning

With anger

With a sense of turmoil

Within myself

Within my relationships

Toward everything around me…

I am wrestling

With rage and fire

Seeking to understand the origin of my shadow

I am face to face with aggression and angst

So it may be integrated, healed, channeled

Into vitality, zeal, life-force, soul-fire

And impact for GOOD

I am learning to mother myself

I am learning to mother Nature again

I am emerging as the warrior

Letting go of what is no longer needed for the journey

Asserting only what is
