About This Track

Ladipoe and Buju find contentment in the face of life's friction on 'Feeling', a track built around the simple assertion that happiness matters more than the weight of circumstance. Buju's chorus loops the refrain with unhurried ease, whilst Ladipoe moves through verses that balance boastfulness with a kind of philosophical shrug: life is short, the good moments are what count, so you might as well enjoy them. The production by Andre Vibez sits light and spacious around them, letting the mood breathe. There's a confidence here that doesn't need to shout. Ladipoe raps about material comfort and the freedom it buys, but the song's real pull is its refusal to let minor stresses corrupt the present moment. Even when he acknowledges that "small thing dey stress me", the next line is a reset: "but right now I'm chilling now". It's a song about choosing your mental state, and it moves with the unhurried logic of someone who's already made that choice.
