'Cliff' by Låpsley is an Electronic track from the album 'Long Way Home' (2016). The lyrics set up a tense, intimate scenario: a nameless boy is presented as available in some desperate sense, while the narrator keeps moving right up to the edge, trying to intervene as the other figure shakes. The repetition of “Take me to the cliffs” turns the chorus into a kind of plea, alternating between risk and rescue as the relationship remains shadowy.
