Lyrics

Sober

Watching this world go crazy while we sleep
I don't like it, talking while we eat
I don't mind it when you look at me
Eyes so inviting, tripping in the seat
I'm not blind but I can't even see
I won't lie it's taking over me

But be careful who you need when you're out there sober
And I don't wanna waste no day getting older
'Cause they've been talking and all their words are cheap
But this life is never made for a man or woman
And I've been talking to ghosts all morning
And they talk you know their talk is cheap

I'm so electric take it all from me
Why I let go everyone I meet
I know every personality
Some say I hold to animosity
For the others laying at my feet
I don't like it when they stare at me

But be careful who you need when you're out there sober
And I don't wanna waste no day getting older
'Cause they've been talking and all their words are cheap
But this life is never made for a man or woman
And I've been talking to ghosts all morning
And they talk you know their talk is cheap

But be careful who you need when you're out there sober
And I don't wanna waste no day getting older
They've been talking and all their words are cheap
But this life is never made for a man or woman
And I've been talking to ghosts all morning
And they talk you know their talk is cheap

But be careful who you need when you're out there sober
And I don't wanna waste no day getting older
'Cause they've been talking and all their words are cheap
But this life is never made for a man or woman
And I've been talking to ghosts all morning
And they talk you know their talk is cheap
