Options

[Chorus: Locksmith]

I put in work for this shit

I gotta weigh out my options (I gotta weigh)

I know my worth in this bitch

I don't be playin', I'm plottin'

I got a way to get paper for days (What?)

I don't be waitin' on people for praise (Nah)

I got familiar with all of their ways (Yeah)

Hop off the dick, jump on the wave (Woo)

Yeah, I put in work for this shit

I gotta weigh out my options (I gotta weigh)

I know my worth in this bitch

I ain't complainin', I'm plottin'

I got a way to get paper for days (What?)

I don't be waitin' on people for praise (Nah)

I got familiar with all of their ways (Yeah)

Hop off the dick, jump on the wave, yeah

[Verse 1: Locksmith]

I know my options, I know I been top 10

I will not be boxed in, I put in my dues

Y'all playin' possum, I don't put it past 'em

I show no compassion, I been a recluse

I got the message that I been sequestered, my viеws-

Made me espеcially rude

Made me aggressively protect my name and my legacy

Still I got more I can prove

I know my pass has been magnified, look what I've had to fight

How can you judge? You a passerby

I used to lay on my back and I'd dream of the rapper life

Now I see that just is asinine

Half the time I'm in my bubble, my vision is tunneled

I just ignore the peripheral

That's just some principle, how they dispensable

I don't play games with you dudes

I am not a slave to celebrity, elevated the lesser me

Never traded the payment for any taste of integrity

Never waited, I'm taking my rightful place

You pathetically tried to ration and bury us

Every rapper's nefarious

Every track is a burial, every act a scenario

Only puts me ahead of these other rappers you carried

The only baggage I had was a static when I was very low

From the rich you already know, whoa

[Chorus: Locksmith]

I put in work for this shit

I gotta weigh out my options (I gotta weigh)

I know my worth in this bitch

I don't be playin, I'm plottin

[Verse 2: Futuristic]

Ayy, yeah, ayy

Options, options, options

These rappers my sons, adoption

I'm playing the stocks like I'm playing the clock

At the buzzer I shoot and it drops in

I make a lucrative profit

Look at the shit I accomplished

I told 'em in 2014 I was bouta blow to consider that the bomb threat

I got a couple of stores

Might close up at Zumies, you moppin' the floor

Couple of cribs and a label with all of your favorites

We make hits, then we go on tour

Filled property in LA for the vision

I made a scholarship, payday tuition

I don't just write it, I did it, I live it

And all that shit came independent

You trippin' if you thinkin' it's impossible

Had to call a audible

Was on the honor roll with a job and chillin' with college folk

Told 'em that I gotta go, knew I would hit the pot of gold

A lot of flows I'm droppin', it got me coppin' a lot of clothes

Three whips, and I wrote a book for the homies

How to make it independent, get the paper like a mummy

Never bummy, I was broke and made a million off the lyrics

I ain't spend it, I invested it you dummy

[Chorus: Locksmith]

I put in work for this shit

I gotta weigh out my options (I gotta weigh)

I know my worth in this bitch

I don't be playin', I'm plottin'

I got a way to get paper for days (What?)

I don't be waitin' on people for praise (Nah)

I got familiar with all of their ways (Yeah)

Hop off the dick, jump on the wave (Woo)

Yeah, I put in work for this shit

I gotta weigh out my options (I gotta weigh)

I know my worth in this bitch

I ain't complainin', I'm plottin'

I got a way to get paper for days (What?)

I don't be waitin' on people for praise (Nah)

I got familiar with all of their ways (Yeah)

Hop off the dick, jump on the wave, yeah

[Verse 3: Ekoh]

And I don't really think y'all get it

I came from nothing to something, ain't going back down

And when the music finna stop, ain't starting none of it

Instead, they'll milk the game 'til they're tried as a cash cow

Look at the meth labs, just in it for the clout

You ain't really got the time? Then just "Unfollow Account"

I got the option, I don't really need to fuck with 'em now

But all these stupid motherfuckers keep on running their mouth

I'm like who this, try'na redirect the blue ship?

New kids, yelling more fake than the news is

Came a long way from the days working two shifts

Just to get a little loose grip on a few chips

Now I got a sweet small stack, call it IHOP

My stock grows with every song that I drop

My clock never give a minute for the time-off

I've got one eye on the gold, that's a cyclops

Yeah, I put the plan into motion

And I don't ever get too caught up in the words and emotions

I got a lot of people that I gotta prove to their notion

And even more that didn't notice til' I start a commotion

I got the fans drinking on that Kool-Aid now

Call it Jim Jones with a new wave

I'll just start a cult-following

Got away down to the money, make money

I don't gotta be around, uh

See I got the option to sign on the line or just keep it authentic

(Keep it authentic)

I've heard all the bullshit and seen through the lines of the money the mention

(Money they mention)

Like I can be happy or give 'em my heart and get back a percentage

(Back a percentage)

But I'ma keep moving and know in the end this is just the beginning, yeah
