About This Track

Lujipeka's 'Borderline' sits at the edge of emotional collapse, the title itself a metaphor for precarious balance. The track moves between distance and proximity, between the speaker's refusal and their inability to escape a relationship that feels both necessary and destructive. There is a quality of exhaustion here, a life lived in deficit where pain and numbness have become indistinguishable. The song builds around a central image of teetering on the brink, caught between light and darkness, between two people who may end up hating each other regardless. Lujipeka's delivery carries the weight of accumulated damage, each verse layering resentment and resignation. The refrain returns like a compulsion, circling the same emotional territory without resolution, the repetition itself becoming a form of entrapment. What emerges is a portrait of someone surviving through force of will alone, aware that survival and living are not the same thing.

"Borderline" is a track by Lujipeka, from the album Adieu bientôt, released 28th September 2018. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

Borderline

[Paroles de "Borderline"]

[Intro]

T'as jamais soufflé sur ma voile

[Pont]

Freine, on descend, là

Où tu m'emmènes (où tu m'emmènes)

Je n'irai pas

J'sais plus quoi faire

Donc j'fais du mal (donc j'fais du mal)

Comment l'refaire (comment l'refaire ?), sans te revoir ?

[Refrain]
