On my dad’s old tape deck

And I’ll be sittin’ on my bed

With my hands under my legs

And it’ll all come back to me

In some wakin’ summer dream

The water was cold and clean

As it rose above my knees

And I let down everyone

When I couldn’t get myself to jump

It looked like fun

But I know I would have thrown up
