Lyrics

Alcohol

[Intro]

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Tell me you still mean it when you're sober

[Verse 1]

You're drinking, you're thinking about it

When are you gonna do something about it

Where there's smoke, there is fire

Too many shots, now you're all about it

[Pre-Chorus]

Could there be more to this?

And I won't dance, and I won't kiss

Cooked after just one sip

Heat up the moment, I'm with the night

[Chorus]

I can see in your, see in your eyes

That you're feeling my, feeling my vibe now

Yeah, there's plenty of Henny on ice

Looks like we're having a hell of a night

But before I pull you closer

Tell me you still mean it when you're sober, yeah

And if you're coming over

Tell me you still need it when you're sober

[Post Chorus]

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Tell me you still mean it when you're sober

[Verse 2]

To be clear, baby, I'm all for it (its on my mind)

And looking for trouble, but you double-dutched the courage

(Its on your mind)

[Pre-Chorus]

Could there be more to this?

And I won't dance, and I won't kiss

Hooked after just one sip

Heat of the moment I want tonight

[Chorus]

I can see in your, see in your eyes

That you're feelin' my, feelin' my vibe now

Yeah, there's plenty of Henny on ice

Looks like we're havin' a hell of a night

Before I pull you closer

Tell me you still mean it when you're sober, yeah

And if you're comin' over

Tell me you still need it when you're sober

[Post Chorus]

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Tell me you still mean it when you're sober

[Outro]

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Don't blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a-alcohol, baby

Tell me you still mean it when you're sober (yeah)
