About This Track

"Surrender" is a track by Mekons, from the album Horror, released 4th April 2025. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

Surrender

When you love me, if you love me

When you love me, it will shine

We turn and spin, twisting desire

A bonfire flames in twilight’s tower

Some mortal wound, some injury

We barter now the days and hours

Drive the nail, fix the lock

Stalk and spy and watch the clock

As it withers, soul distressed

We damage all that we caressed

In the future, we’ll find ecstasy

In the future we surrender
