About This Track

Miguel extends a seductive invitation on 'Harem', a pillowy track that frames desire as a shared, liberated space. The song sketches a world of sensory abundance, where he promises to "show you where you wanna be" and invites a listener into a realm where "love is free". It's a siren song built on the fantasy of pleasure without constraint, where physical and intellectual satisfaction coexist. The production matches the lyrical mood: dreamy and weightless, with floating arrangements that drift rather than insist. Miguel's voice glides across the track with characteristic ease, selling the proposition through tone as much as words. The invitation is gentle, almost courtly in its politeness, even as the subject matter sits firmly in the carnal.

"Harem" is a track by Miguel, from the album War & Leisure, released 1st December 2017. The track is 3:13 long. It's filed under R&B/Soul. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 1 article about Miguel.

Lyrics

Harem

Do you like, pretty things
Pretty places, pretty bae
Every night, dreamy seas
Float away, away with us
Love and trust is what you see
Exquisite minds, satisfy
Make a choice, make it fast, lightning never strikes twice
Like a harem baby
Just follow me, follow me, oh, harem
Trust me this is where you wanna be, you wanna be
Come and stay where love is free, oh harem
'Cause we would love your company, company
Come and see the world in ways that most could never dream of chasing
The way that love could be if you were mine, yeah, baby
Bright love
Come and see the world in ways that most could never dream of chasing
The way that love could be if you were mine, yeah
Just follow me, follow me, uh harem
Let me show you where you wanna be, you wanna be, harem
Lust for life, where love is free, love is free, harem
'Cause we would love your company, company yeah
Let me pollinate your mind
And scream loud enough like a classic love, yeah, ooh
