Lyrics

December

It’s December 1st and all I want is to stay home

Lately all the bars in town are dead as catacombs

The streets are lined with decorations bringing in the cheer

But maybe if I close my eyes

I’ll sleep until next year

Don’t wait to long

Don’t wait to long to decide your reasons why

You feel nothing

Cause nothing is easy

Nothing is easy

Nothing is easy

Nothing is easy believe me I’ve tried

It’s December 13 and I’m told it’s ladies night

Finally I worked up the nerve to go out after light

That’s just not my scene so I turned round, walked out the door

Now I’m Christmas shopping at a liquor store

Don’t wait to long

Don’t wait to long to decide your reasons why

You feel nothing

Cause nothing is easy

Nothing is easy

Nothing is easy

Nothing is easy believe me I’ve tried

Believe me I’ve tried

It’s good looking out from the inside

Believe me I’ve tried
