About This Track

'Elevate' by Nao is a R&B/Soul track from the album 'Jupiter', released in 2025. The lyrics paint a heightened, late-night mood, with images of waking and checking the pulse, alongside a sense of surrender to calling and the pull of summer mornings. Against that slightly alarmed physicality, there is also a clear moral tilt, with the singer insisting they are “not one for being selfish”, and laying out a more grounded reassurance.

"Elevate" is a track by Nao, from the album Jupiter, released 21st February 2025. The track is 3:06 long. It's filed under R&B/Soul. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 3 articles about Nao.

Lyrics

Elevate

Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here where living is calling
Summertime hits in the morning
Window pane, lying on sheets, shadows form
Sometimes I gotta check on my pulse, it's alarming
How I get to wake up like this every morning
I'm not one for being selfish
I know that I can't help it
It's like cocaine in your kiss
The way that I can't go a day without it
I'm off the ground when it hits
Hope we stay floating like this
'Cause when we elevate
Yeah, when we elevate
Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here when living is calling
Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here where living is calling
Love the way we push through the stars, how you navigate
We get up so far, it's a pleasure babe
I need you to stay
On it all for me, oh
I'm not one for being selfish
I know that I can't help it
It's like cocaine in your kiss
The way that I can't go a day without it
I'm off the ground when it hits
Hope we stay floating like this
'Cause when we elevate
Yeah, when we elevate
Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here when living is calling
Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here where living is calling
Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here when living is calling
Off of my face with no fear of falling
Even down here where living is calling
