Pessimist

[Intro]

Surely, you can see you can never make her happy?

[Verse 1]

Woke up to a clouded day

All my dreams were shit and I just can't shake the

Feeling of impending doom and it's only noon

Guess the only thing to do is

[Pre-Chorus]

Turn on the news, shit, why do I always do this to myself?

'Cause I'm always in the mood, yeah

To do something bad for my mental health

[Chorus]

Everyday's a great day to be a pessimist (Uh, uh, uh, uh)

Everyday's a great day to be a pessimist (Uh, uh, uh, uh)

'Cause you can't be disappointing if everything's annoying

Everyday's a great day to be a pessimist (Uh, uh, uh, uh)

[Verse 2]

Got a ticket on my car just now

And I don't know how I'ma go without

Burning everything to the ground

Break every window in this town

Guess the only thing to do is

[Pre-Chorus]

Buy me some new shit, why do I always do this to myself?

I'm gonna lose it and do something bad for my mental health

[Bridge]

I know, you know, we know

I should probably get a therapist

But I'm scared, I'm scared, I'm scared

That they'll judge me 'cause I'm an idiot

Plus, it's too damn expensive and too comprehensive

I don't want an intensive on all the trauma that got me here

Don't wanna talk about my greatest fears

Just remember that, remember that

[Chorus]

No, you can't be disappointing if everything's annoying

Everyday's a great day to be a pessimist (Be a pessimist)

[Outro]

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah (Oh, it's a great day)

Nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah (To be a pessimist, yeah)

Everyday's a great day to be a pessimist (Uh, uh, uh, uh)
