About This Track
'Turn' by New Order is a 2005 track from the album 'Waiting for the Sirens’ Call'. The lyrics place a narrator in a moment of collapse and pleading, with homecoming described as a hard route and time stretching from days into months and years. There is a sense of obsessive presence, as if someone remains felt everywhere, even in a corner, alongside an urgent instruction to “Turn your eyes from me”. The refrain of reversal, turning away and turning forward, gives the words a strained, urgent shape.
"Turn" is a track by New Order, from the album Waiting for the Sirens’ Call, released 27th March 2005. The track is 4:34 long. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 11 articles about New Order.
