Walled in so-called God's offense

Or make a break and melt

Half bull, half goddess

These are the labyrinth myths on me

From the million flights I've fashioned in my mind

I know the sky to be tall and free

So far, that dangerous sun ripens me

Plumper than a sunset giving way

To the unfurling of Black

Come, new story begin

Rising with dawn in my skin

Luminous, my way is waxing in the sun

Moon-like, I rise on poetic wings

I'm not afraid of the maze

Humans made

Dare you to ascend dreams of your own

Free until death has its way
