Strange

[Intro]

This is the kind of shit that happens when you're strange, man..

[Verse 1: O]

Meet Eric and Eric is strange, Eric has got a devil inside of his brain

Tried to explain to his pops he's insane, but his pops gave him oxy to pop for the pain

And his mom is to blame, popping prescriptions

Couldn't talk to pop because pop wouldn't listen

Ma started bitchin', addiction is itchin', but pop's cooking rock with the pots in the kitchen

They're both on soap, baggies of coke, all up in the kitchen because dad needs a smoke

Mom loves pills dad's married to dope, but his dad is a dealer so he carries them both

And Eric has a voice he avoids in his head

It annoys him, destroys him, inside when it says

"As you lie on your bed, you realize that you're dead

Because you seem to believe every lie that you're fed."

So Eric smokes cess because he hears that it helps

Disappear from the fear, but he's scared of himself

All he hears in his scalp is screaming and madness

Dies in his dreams, screams in his mattress

Relieving the tension, in need of attention

Because he's in suspension for leaving detention

He breathes, but the weed that he sees and be clenchin'

Now he's stuck with them and these evil intentions

Did I mention, they drive him mad?

His eyes are bags, because he's been getting high off grass

He finds his dad, and catches him outside the pad

Inside a bag, and puts his ass inside a bag

Eric sighs and decides to laugh, Sean never was a dad, I'm alive at last

He put the body in the trash so that nobody found it

Then he walked away astounded, because he ain't grounded

[Verse 2: O]

Meet Dawn, she was married to Sean

Dawn doesn't know that her husband is gone

Dawn is a mom, but her child belongs

In a place where he won't be entitled to harm

There's a few things wrong up in that mind of his

But Dawn doesn't pay no mind when there's a line to sniff

She minds her biz', and then becomes blind as shit

Too high to realize what's inside her kid

You see Dawn is a junkie, addicted to pills

Itchin' until her prescription is filled

But her fix couldn't fix how she wishes to feel

It's a bitch to conceal all the shit that is real

On soap and she can't get clean, it's obscene

Imagine what her son's seein' this is some scene

Seventeen and he screams coming from dreams

And both the people that know him are nothing but fiends

So he walks in the door with a slouch

Knife in his hand Dawn falls off the couch

Screams out "Sean!" He said Sean's moving out

Eric shut the door chased Dawn all through the house

Dawn ran into her kids room and locked the door

She put the mirror right in front of it and got on the floor

He screams out "What, you don't trust me you whore?!"

"What's the matter ma, you don't love me no more?!"

Voices are talking, controlling his life

Putting holes in the wall, still holding a knife

Screams out "Ma you don't know what it's like

To feel like you're dead but I'll show you tonight!"

Then he cuts out the lights, power is gone

Eric screams out "I'ma find you Dawn!"

You're locked in the room and it's all your fault

Now there's nowhere to go and there's no one to call

[Outro]

"Mom... Dad? I'm strange (strange, strange, strange)

Strange, strange, strange..

Strange, strange, strange...
