Following three years after their untitled album, their eighth full-length is set for release on 29th April, preceded by the title track.
About This Track
'Rammlied' opens the album with a declaration of intent. The song shifts between moments of propulsive force and more measured, reflective passages, anchored by the repeated invocation of the band's own name as both rallying cry and mantra. Rammstein sing of patience rewarded, of leadership and followership, of solitude met with presence. There is a collectivity to it, a sense of unified purpose stated plainly: one path, one goal, one motive, one flesh-and-blood collective. The track builds its power through repetition and contrast, moving from quieter verses into moments of greater intensity. It functions as both introduction and statement of principle, a song that announces the band's return whilst acknowledging the patience their audience has shown. The lyrics traffic in aphorism and paradox, suggesting that rightness is self-evident, that hunger and being hunted are part of the same cycle. When loneliness arrives, the song promises, they will be there.
