About This Track

'Introduction.' by Raye is a 2023 pop track from the album 'My 21st Century Blues'. It sets the scene as a club-style welcome, with the speaker thanking the audience for coming out tonight and promising a special guest, before running through stage directions and local detail. The lyrics briefly gesture to a specific guest and a house band, in the manner of a scripted opening, ending on the mention of the Moon. One line like “Ladies and gentlemen, thank you so much” captures the rehearsed, ceremonial tone.

"Introduction." is a track by Raye, from the album My 21st Century Blues, released 3rd February 2023. The track is 0:58 long. It's filed under Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 20 articles about Raye.

Lyrics

Introduction.

Ladies and gentlemen
Thank you so much for coming out tonight
To the world famous 21st Century Blues Club
We got a very special guest for you tonight coming on
All the way from London, England, you know the place
A little help from Mike Sabath (Mike Sabath)
And our house band, the Moon Girls
Ladies and gentlemen
Give a warm heartbreak welcome
To the wonderful, RAYE
