Lyrics

Mercy

[Verse]

I never got what I wanted

I never asked for it, mm

Thought it would find me easy

Even when I was silent

[Pre-Chorus]

I could stand in the rain

Wishing for the sun but

I never wanted anything more

Now you’re the sun

And I’m raining down

Like I did before

[Chorus]

Wash away, now

Wash away, now

All my sins

Doesn’t change what I did

Doesn’t change what I did

[Pre-Chorus]

I could stand in the rain

Wishing for the sun but

I never wanted anything more

Now you’re the sun

And I’m raining down

Like I did before

[Chorus]

Wash away, now

Wash away, now

All my sins are gone

Doesn’t change what I did

You can’t change what I did
