About This Track

'This Generation' by SAULT is an alternative track on the album 'Untitled (Black Is)' released in 2020. The lyrics press a collective wake-up call, recalling years of walking and talking, then landing on the frustration of “Nobody's listening” before insisting, with finality, that this generation cares.

"This Generation" is a track by SAULT, released 19th June 2020. Full lyrics are available below.

Lyrics

This Generation

It's time to wake up

We have walked the walk many years

Many times

We have walked in silence

We have expressed our voices

People have died

We've walked the walk

We have talked the talk

Nobody's listening

Nobody listened

Nobody cared

Nobody cared

This generation cares
