'Spell' moves through intimate space with the deliberate pacing of a private language. Seventeen build the track around a shared understanding that needs no words, the chorus constructed from syllables that belong only to the two voices inside it. The production settles into a groove of ocean imagery and deepening recognition, each member tracing the contours of attention and desire without hurry.
