A medley of audition performances from the animated film, 'Auditions' stitches together a rapid-fire succession of cover songs and character moments. Each animal contestant takes a turn at the microphone, cycling through pop and rock standards with varying degrees of commitment and comic effect. The track moves quickly enough that no single performance overstays its welcome, the energy sustained by sheer variety rather than depth.
