About This Track
'Hell' by Sleater-Kinney is an alternative track from the album 'Little Rope' (2024). The lyrics paint a grim, almost roadside vision of ‘Hell’ as a place with no past and no invitation, following a certain path and meeting desperation rather than comfort. A young man with a gun appears in the scene, and the repeated question “Why like there's no tomorrow” frames a sense of urgency and fatalism. The overall effect is starkly confrontational, as if the song is looking straight at a choice, and at what follows it.
"Hell" is a track by Sleater-Kinney, from the album Little Rope, released 19th January 2024. The track is 3:14 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 8 articles about Sleater-Kinney.
