Doesn't talk much to her dad

Doesn't talk to me much either

But that's the way that it goes when your twenties are more than a distant high school day dream

Doesn't see much of her friends

She's got too much going on

And got some new ones too

To be honest it was probably time and we didn't deserve each other

Cause we're selfish

It's something we sometimes miss

When we knew all our checks and balancеs

We've all got our own trademark damagеs

Yea we're selfish

We like to think that we outgrew it

But we didn't

It's all falling apart

We probably still complain about our own shit

We didn't deserve somebody like you

But 2012 was a damn good year

Don't get me wrong though

I wouldn't go back

I don't miss the 7:30 wake ups and polos

And old blokes on power trips

Talking down and doing all kinds of perverted shit

But we catch buses and talk about crushes

Now we catch up a few times a year

Cause we're selfish
