Lyrics

Train

So it starts, the day is new
Hold myself together, eyes peeled on platform two
The brain starts to wake
I know the train is coming 'cause the tracks start to shake
Sense what's in store
Catching all the suits, push past as they wait for the door
Avoid much hassle
All aboard the cabin, we go like cattle

Everything I'm seeing ain't real enough for me
I'm in a situation (I can feel it with my eyes closed)

Snap back to the train
You had five seconds to think so you don't go insane
This is just routine, yet
Too much for some paranoia that bleeds
There's a mum and a baby at the back
Attracting attention, breeds anxiety attack
The two seconds have passed
So much goes on, yet it feels so fast

Everything I'm seeing ain't real enough for me
I'm in a situation (I can feel it with my eyes closed)
(I can feel it with my eyes closed)
Everything I'm seeing ain't real enough for me (I can feel it with my eyes closed)
(I can feel it with my eyes closed)
I'm in a situation (I can feel it, I can feel it, I can feel it, uh)

I'm just standing still, but my heart is beating faster
My legs are standing still and my lungs are moving faster
I'm melting into my shoes
I've just seen my face on the Metro news
I swear I'm living in the Matrix

(I can feel it with my eyes closed)
Everything I'm seeing ain't real enough for me (I can feel it with my eyes closed)
(I can feel it with my eyes closed)
I'm in a simulation (I can feel it, I can feel it, I can feel it, uh)

    Any Other Questions with... STONE

Yes, Dear Reader. We enjoy those ‘in depth’ interviews as much as anyone else. But - BUT - we also enjoy the lighter side of music, too. We simply cannot go on any longer without knowing that Sarah from STONE always has a good selection of cheese in the fridge?
