Lyrics

Promises

[Verse 1]

Go on, set fire

Burn up my night

Trouble with a closed hand

This should be light

It won't be long

Be long until we're all too old

Believe if you need to

And take yourself higher

And if I'm wrong

You'll find me in the morning

Believe if you need to

And take yourself

[Verse 2]

Go on, set fire

Burn up my night

Trouble with a closed hand

This should be light

And if it all goes to your head

Someone's going to stay by your side

Show a little heart if you dare

Promise me you'll try

[Verse 3]

Go on, set fire

Burn up my night

Trouble with a closed hand

This should be light

Go on, set fire

Burn up my night

Trouble with a closed hand

This should be light

It won't be long

Be long until we're all too old

Believe if you need to

And take yourself higher

And if I'm wrong

You'll find me in the morning

Believe if you need to

And take yourself
