About This Track

'End' by The Cure is a 1992 track in which the speaker reaches a point where giving up and going on feel indistinguishable, both becoming a dead end. The lyrics return to the idea that wishes have come true yet offer no escape, wrapping that tired disillusionment in the sense of being stuck in the “same old song”.
