This was the last wind

The night is coming

The anchor is down until next morning

It's warm and I see the mate in the dark yawning

I'm leaning over the rail

The water is dark and deep

I'm told to mend the sail as so many times before

It's warm and I feel the ship is rolling me to sleep

We saw a bird a few days ago

The sign for a lonely sailors dream to come true

But still there's a long, long way to go

Maybe one more week or two, I don't know

The wind is our friend

It takes us everywhere

Without a friend

No certain end

It's warm
