The Gaslight Anthem frontman teams up with Butch Walker for his first solo material since 2021.

Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, born September 23, 1949, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is nicknamed "the Boss" and has released 21 studio albums over six decades. Most of his albums feature the E Street Band, his backing band since 1972. Springsteen is considered a pioneer of heartland rock. His first two albums, Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J. and The Wild, the Innocent & the E Street Shuffle, were released in 1973. He gained international recognition with Born to Run in 1975. His subsequent albums include Darkness on the Edge of Town (1978), The River (1980), and Nebraska (1982). Born in the U.S.A., released in 1984 with the E Street Band, became his most commercially successful album and is among the best-selling albums of all time as of 2024. For his next three albums—Tunnel of Love (1987), Human Touch (1992), and Lucky Town (1992)—he primarily employed session musicians. He reunited the E Street Band for the compilation Greatest Hits (1995) and recorded the acoustic album The Ghost of Tom Joad (1995) and the EP Blood Brothers (1996), both solo projects.
