Lyrics

Cracks

[Verse 1: Kieren Webster]

He said that he was living in his head

The streets around here, the blood runs red

Out of Berrick with his head

Felt like a tunnel head

Finds out that his best friends left him for dead

[Refrain: Kyle Falconer]

And feels like a glass

Pour out the drink

[Verse 2: Kieren Webster]

Shoes on, lost a tread

Lost a girl, lost a head

He's was gonna strut, he's crawling instead

Out of Berrick with his head

Felt like a tunnel head

Crawling round thinking, is it something I said?

[Refrain: Kyle Falconer]

And feels like a glass

Pour out the drink

It's having a grip on me now

[Chorus: Kieren Webster with Kyle Falconer]

And I've seen the cracks on this town

When I'm knocked on the ground

And I've seen the cracks on this town

They're never bringing me down

[Verse 3: Kieren Webster]

So he said that he was living in his head

The streets around here, the blood runs red

He said he was living in his mind

Piece of that something is so hard to find

[Refrain: Kyle Falconer]

And feels like a glass

Pour out the drink

Feels like the glass

It's having a grip on me now

[Chorus: Kieren Webster with Kyle Falconer]

And I've seen the cracks on this town

When I'm knocked on the ground

And I've seen the cracks on this town

They're never bringing me down

I've seen the cracks on this town

I've seen the cracks on this town

I've seen the cracks on this town

Never bringing me down

[Outro: The View & Kyle Falconer]

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Cracks on this town

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Cracks on this town

Ohh, cracks on this town

Oh-ooh-ooh, ohh

Ohh, Cracks on this town

Ohh, Cracks on this town

They're never bringing me down
