Lyrics

3

Counting starts with your head in the grass
Hearing cars, can't you feel something?
It's no empathy for the dream
Get along with the way it should be
And you're too far gone, I'm too hungry
Hey, I'm talking to you
Hey, I'm talking to you

I don't miss the way things used to be
I know you don't feel safe
And I can't make it go away
I can't say it'll be okay

Close your eyes and count to three
One, two, three
I'm openin' the closet
Your skeletons are coming out for me
Out in threes
I'm openin' the closet
Your skeletons are coming out for me
Out in threes

And I'm starting to wonder why you lied to me
This sickness makes me think about your destiny
And as we get older, we lose sleep
And I know you miss the way it used to be

I don't miss the way things used to be
I know you don't feel safe
But I can't make this go away
I can't say it'll be okay
'Cause I can't make this go away
I can't say it'll be okay
