Lyrics

Prolog

Eines Morgens bist du in der Fremde
Aufgewacht. Deine Hände
Zittern noch, du hörst in dich hinein
Doch das wird erst der Anfang sein

Du weißt nicht, was dich geritten hat
In diese tote Küstenstadt
Um dich verstreut liegen deine Papiere
Muscheln und Schalentiere

Du spürst die Gifte im System
Willst nur den Abend überstehn
Da sind Löcher unter deiner Haut
Du bist aus Schwamm gebaut

Aus deinem Wohnsitz in der Tiefe
Schreibst du deinen Freunden Briefe
Sie lesen jede Zeile
In ihrer Wüste der Langeweile

Aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah

Du schreibst, du lerntest deinen Hass zu tanzen
In der Schule der Extravaganzen
Und du schriebest die Diplomarbeit
Über Empfindlichkeit

Weil sich die Gegenstände widersetzen
Suchst du vergeblich an vertrauten Plätzen
Du zitterst noch und hörst in dich hinein
Was könnte das Ereignis sein?

Aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah

Aus deinem Wohnsitz in der Tiefe
Schreibst du deinen Freunden Briefe
Sie lesen jede Zeile
In der Oase der Langeweile

Jetzt wo auch dieser Tag zu Ende geht
Bemerkst du, wie der Wind sich dreht
Du zitterst noch und hörst in dich hinein
Liebe wird das Ereignis sein

Aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah

Aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
Ah-ah-aah
