About This Track

'Breakthrough' by TWICE is a 2019 J-Pop track from the album '&TWICE'. The lyrics are built around an unshakeable drive forward, with the speaker pushing towards an ideal future while insisting they will not let even a high wall stop them. There is a clear sense of urgency and finality, too, as the words stress that there is no rewinding time, only choice. The vocal stance is defiant and motivational, closing on the promise of becoming someone they can eventually be proud of, with a repeated resolve not to give up and to go their own way.

"Breakthrough" is a single by TWICE, from the album &TWICE, released 20th November 2019. The track is 3:38 long. It's filed under J-Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 4 articles about TWICE.

Lyrics

Breakthrough

Dreaming
Anytime
Heading

Story

Going my way
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Breakthrough breakthrough
Breakthrough breakthrough
Breakthrough breakthrough
Breakthrough breakthrough
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up

Break break breakthrough
Break break breakthrough
Break break breakthrough
Break break breakthrough

Everybody break break breakthrough
Growing up
My heart
Beatsが Heating さあ Moving on, moving on

Milestone

Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Breakthrough breakthrough
Breakthrough breakthrough
Breakthrough breakthrough
Breakthrough breakthrough
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up

Going my way
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
Say say don't give up
