About This Track
The lead single from TWICE's third EP 'Twicecoaster: Lane 1', produced by Black Eyed Pilseung. The track toggles between the giddy rehearsal of a first confession and the paralysis that follows, TWICE singing about a crush they cannot quite act on despite endless private resolutions. The Korean lyrics trace the emotional whiplash of adolescent longing: humming a tune that tips into tears, practising conversations that never happen, the frustration of feeling grown but unable to control one's own heart. The chorus hook borrows the shape of a crying emoticon, the group repeating 'I'm like TT, just like TT' as shorthand for the gap between bravado and helplessness. The production sits within the EP's range of electropop, dance-pop and deep house, built for maximum catchiness without sacrificing the song's core ambivalence. A Japanese version later appeared as the lead single from the compilation album '#Twice'.
"TT" is a track by TWICE, from the album Twicecoaster: Lane 1, released 23rd October 2016. The track is 3:33 long. It's filed under K-Pop. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 4 articles about TWICE.
