Not Alone

The lay still watching the rainbow
A path from dark to light his mother had told him
A path to his imagination
He closed his eyes and felt his feelings rise
A lifelong sadness enveloped him
And in it's wrapping, all his longing, all his heartache emerged
And he was not alone
