Yeat and Don Toliver pair up on '2TONE', a track built on Toliver's sung chorus, which cycles through scenes of infidelity and suspicion. The production sits somewhere between trap and R&B, letting Toliver's voice float across verses that oscillate between romantic devotion and accusation. He moves from "nobody wants to be clueless" through declarations of chosen love, the melody catching on the repetition. Yeat's post-chorus cuts in with a harder edge, his delivery clipped and confrontational. Where Toliver dwells in the emotional wreckage, Yeat names the material markers of his world: the two-tone fit, the flooded wrist, the two-tone woman who keeps him cycling through moods. The contrast between the two voices shapes the song's tension, each artist occupying a different register of the same relationship's collapse.
"2TONE" is a track by Yeat, from the album DANGEROUS SUMMER, released 1st August 2025. Full lyrics are available below.
