About This Track

'4ui12' by Yeule is an alternative track from the 2023 album 'softscars'. The lyrics are sharply dehumanising, casting a tense love story as a kind of manufactured art, with the speaker caught between being made special and being reduced. A recurring refrain heightens the self-erasure, while a single line gives away the bitter centre, “Dehumanising me”. The vocal approach and the repeated fragments underline a loop of idealisation and dismissal, until the song ends on a wish to escape its own framing.

"4ui12" is a track by Yeule, from the album softscars, released 21st September 2023. The track is 2:44 long. It's filed under Alternative. Full lyrics are available below. Dork has published 8 articles about Yeule.

Lyrics

4ui12

Dehumanising me,
Romanticising me,
Art, artificially
You're so fucking special

Love, lover, love her
Think of me when you fuck her
Lose, loser, lose her
She is him and her is me
