Ego Ella May has shared a video for ‘Sister’ following the release of ‘Good Intentions’
The clip stars the singer's real sibling and arrives via her second album 'Good Intentions'.

Ego Ella May has shared new visuals for ‘Sister’, taken from her recently released second album ‘Good Intentions’.
The video was shot by Jelani Pomell and features the British-Nigerian artist’s real-life sister, with the track itself co-produced by Tom Excell.
Released independently, ‘Good Intentions’ was produced by Ego Ella May alongside collaborators including Alfa Mist, Beat Butcha, LVTHER, Melo Zed and TAVE. Previous singles from the album include ‘What We Do’, co-produced with Wu-Lu, alongside ‘What You Waiting For’, ‘We’re Not Free’ and ‘Don’t Take My Lover Away’.
In a note accompanying the album, Ego Ella May said: “For a long time these songs were just small ideas moving quietly through my days. A melody that arrived while I was walking somewhere. A line that stayed with me long enough to write down. Little fragments that didn’t know yet what they were becoming.”
She added: “Making this album felt different to the time around ‘Honey For Wounds’. Back then everything still felt quite new to me, the process, the pace, even the idea of sharing something so personal with people I’d never met. This time the work asked for something slower. More listening, more patience, and a whole lot of trust.”
The South-East London artist first emerged with her 2014 EP ‘Breathing Underwater’, later winning Best Jazz Act at the 2020 MOBO Awards and Best Vocalist at the 2021 Jazz FM Awards following the release of her debut album ‘Honey For Wounds’.
