FKA Twigs reveals why she chose North West for collaboration on 'Childlike Things'
Speaking in a new video posted to Instagram, twigs explained how the collaboration came together while working in the studio with Lewis Roberts.

FKA twigs has shared insights into her collaboration with North West on the track 'Childlike Things', which appears on her third studio album 'EUSEXUA'.
The track features West, the 11-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, delivering a verse in Japanese. Speaking in a new video posted to Instagram, twigs explained how the collaboration came together while working in the studio with Lewis Roberts.
The artist revealed that the song's origins trace back to her own childhood, inspired by Maurice Sendak's Where The Wild Things Are. After her label suggested including a feature on the track, twigs found herself drawn to West's confident persona.
twigs noted the unique timing of their collaboration: "I wrote the song when I was 12/13, she wrote the song when she was 11. When I wrote the song, North wasn't born, and when she wrote the song, I was 36. So we've collaborated through time. This is a collaboration that has taken decades to come to fruition.
