Fortnite Festival have revealed their next headline act, with
Laufey stepping into the spotlight for the rhythm game's fourteenth season. The Icelandic-Chinese singer succeeds Chappell Roan, who headlined the previous season.
A short clip shared over the weekend introduced the collaboration, featuring Laufey auditioning various outfits alongside Fortnite mascot Peely. The crossover goes live on 16th April, though specific details of what the partnership will include have yet to be announced. Previous Festival headliners have typically been given multiple skins, themed weapons, accessories, emotes, and a selection of their tracks playable within the game.
Away from the world of gaming, Laufey recently made her Coachella debut. A deluxe edition of third album '
A Matter Of Time', titled 'The Final Hour', arrived on streaming services on 10th April, following the original record's release last year.
