Faries, pirates and mermaids ahoy: it's LeeFest.

LeeFest Presents: The Neverland takes over John Darlings Farm near Tunbridge Wells this weekend for three days of magical fun including mermaids, pirates, hot tubs and tiki bars. A bunch of Dork’s favourite bands are also heading over, including Fickle Friends, Shame, Catholic Action, Fish, Kagoule, Wild Beasts and Milk Teeth, who would have a lot of fun if they had a fairly pal, it seems.

Are you looking forward to LeeFest? Is it a festival you've played before?

Becky: Yeah will be a blast, hadn't heard of it before but I love a good show.

Is there anyone else on the line up you're looking forward to seeing, or catching up with?

Annie Mac will be rad. I also like Lewis Watson, saw him at Underground Festival in Gloucester.

It's themed around Neverland, from Peter Pan. When you were younger, what did you think you'd be when you grew up? Were you always destined for band life?

I knew I wanted to do music, but I didn't know of any way in, I've always liked writing I reckon I wanted to be an author at on point. That or throw some paint around. Arty shit. I played a hell of a lot of Scalextric and football; those were up there too.

If you could hang out with any of the characters from Peter Pan, who would you choose and why?

Tiger Lily because she's a badass, and the lost boys because I imagine that would basically be a home from home with my lot on tour.

If you had your own fairy pal, what magical mischief would you get up to?

Turn all water supplies into Coca Cola for a day so everyone gets a mad buzz on, follow people around and whisper into their ear a running commentary of their life, go on tour with my favourite bands by jacking a ride anonymously, fly down a waterfall because if I did that, in reality, I'd probably just belly flop and crack my skull.

What do you think the main advantage of never growing up would be?

Not having to go work shitty jobs, not having to worry about money, not knowing how bullshit and messed up a lot of the world is and never having to cook!

If you could be one age for the rest of your life, what age would you pick and why?

Probably 22, Taylor Swift was right.

What bands or musicians did you listen to while growing up?

Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Green Day, The Who, Slipknot all the Greebo bands.

What else have you got coming up this year?

We will have a second EP out later on this year with four new tracks, and we have a super exciting tour booked which is getting announced soon!
