Raised in a Nigerian-Catholic household in the Dublin suburb of Tallaght, a young SPIDER was banned from going to gigs, expected to fit into the gender roles or social expectations of a first-generation immigrant family. Instead, she started running stan accounts online for pop bands, witnessing the possibilities while experiencing digital fan culture first-hand.
Moving to London aged 18 to forge a path in music, her debut mixtape marks her out as a definite one to watch. You can check it out below.
