Beyoncé and Kendrick Lamar lead the recently-announced nominations for the 2023 Grammy Awards.
The 65th Grammy Awards show is set to air on February from Los Angeles' Crypto.com Arena, beginning at 8pm EST / 1 am GMT, with the full list of ceremony presenters and performers yet to be confirmed. The nominations were announced at 6 pm ET on November 15th.
Beyoncé takes the lead with the highest number of nominations this year, racking up nine nods in categories including the highly-coveted Album Of The Year (‘RENAISSANCE’), Record Of The Year & Song Of The Year (‘BREAK MY SOUL’). She is now tied for the most-nominated artist of all time with none other than her own husban Jay-Z, who himself picked up multiple new nominations for his work with DJ Khaled.
Kendrick Lamar is also tipped for the same three major categories for his fifth studio album, ‘Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers’, and single cut, ‘The Heart Part 5’. The American rapper boasts eight total nominations and is trailed by past winners Adele and Brandi Carlile, both of whom are in the running for seven separate categories.
Speaking of previous winners, Taylor Swift has been put forward for four awards including Song Of The Year and Best Music Video for ‘All Too Well (10 Minute Version)’, as well as Best Country Song (‘I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor's Version)’).
