
Arcade Fire have announced a new world tour, including five shows in the UK and Ireland
The band's new album 'WE' is out now.

Arcade Fire is a Canadian indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec. The band includes multi-instrumentalists Win Butler, Régine Chassagne, Richard Reed Parry, Tim Kingsbury, and Jeremy Gara. The touring lineup features former core member Sarah Neufeld and multi-instrumentalists Paul Beaubrun and Dan Boeckner. Many of the band's studio albums feature contributions from composer and violinist Owen Pallett, who has also been a touring member. The band was founded in 2001 by Win Butler and Josh Deu. They gained prominence in 2004 with the release of their debut album, Funeral. Their second album, Neon Bible, received the 2008 Meteor Music Award for Best International Album and the 2008 Juno Award for Alternative Album of the Year. Their third album, The Suburbs, was released in 2010 and received critical acclaim and commercial success. It won several awards, including the 2011 Grammy for Album of the Year, the 2011 Juno Award for Album of the Year, and the 2011 Brit Award for Best International Album.

Tickets for the relatively intimate new date - part of the venue's reopening weekend - go on sale on Thursday, 21st April.

The band will sneak in an hour-long set at the Mojave Tent starting at 6:45pm local time.
