About Behemoth

Behemoth is a Polish blackened death metal band from Gdańsk, formed in 1991. They have played a significant role in establishing the Polish extreme metal underground alongside bands such as Vader and Hate. The band has been described as a prominent figure in the Polish metal scene. Their releases have received recognition from major publications. In 2016, Loudwire ranked them as the 50th-best metal band of all time.
