BETH GIBBONS

Beth Gibbons is an English singer and songwriter born on 4 January 1965. She is the vocalist and lyricist for the band Portishead, which has released three albums. In 2002, she released the album Out of Season with fellow English musician Rustin Man. In 2019, she recorded a version of Górecki's Symphony No. 3 with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 2024, she released her first solo album, Lives Outgrown, which was critically acclaimed and nominated for the Mercury Prize.
