PJ Harvey teams up with composer Tim Phillips to cover Joy Division's classic for Apple TV+ show's second season soundtrack.

Polly Jean Harvey, born on 9 October 1969, is an English singer and songwriter. She is primarily known as a vocalist and guitarist but is also proficient with a range of instruments. Harvey began her music career in 1988 as a member of the band Automatic Dlamini, serving as vocalist, guitarist, and saxophonist. The band's frontman, John Parish, has been a long-term collaborator. In 1991, she formed the trio PJ Harvey, which released two studio albums, Dry (1992) and Rid of Me (1993), before disbanding. Harvey then pursued a solo career, releasing ten studio albums with collaborations involving Parish, Rob Ellis, Mick Harvey, and Eric Drew Feldman. She has also worked extensively with record producer Flood. Harvey has received the Mercury Prize twice, in 2001 for Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea (2000) and in 2011 for Let England Shake (2011). She has also been awarded a BAFTA and has received eight Brit Award nominations, eight Grammy Award nominations, and two additional Mercury Prize nominations.
