About CSS

CSS (an initialism of Cansei de Ser Sexy) is a Brazilian rock band from São Paulo. The band was associated with the explosion of the new rave scene of the late 2000s. CSS releases songs in both Portuguese and English, which contributed to their audience in the anglophone world. In 2011, founding member Adriano Cintra left the band, leading to a period of inactivity between 2013 and 2019. The band reformed without Cintra in 2019, initially planning to perform a single concert in São Paulo, but their success prompted the members to continue performing full-time.
